Insight

At Cumulus Studio, architecture isn't just about buildings; it's about creating enduring connections between people and place. As a trusted collaborator of Cumulus Studio, Lily Beau Design had the privilege of contributing to capturing the essence of several remarkable projects in Tasmania. Our task was content production, working hand-in-hand with talented photographers to capture the unique beauty of each project. Each one tells its own story of connection with place, sustainability, and the delicate balance of tradition and contemporary design, showcasing genuine artistry and thoughtful craftsmanship.

One such project is the Dove Lake Viewing Shelter, nestled in the heart of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area. Anjie Blair's lens beautifully captured the design, seamlessly blending with its natural surroundings, epitomising Cumulus' sensitive approach. A collaborative design connected to Country and Culture.

Next was Callington Mill Distillery, a contemporary design beside an 1830s historic flour mill in Oatlands. Photographer Adam Gibson skillfully depicted the harmonious coexistence of tradition and innovation in this unique Tasmanian town.

Du Cane Brewery, located in Launceston's original Allgoods tent city retail store, showcased Cumulus' commitment to sustainability and community. Jesse Hunniford's lens artfully portrayed the brewery's 'come as you are' ambiance and integration of heritage elements.

Finally, the Muylatina Child & Family Learning Centre in northern Tasmania was documented by Natasha Mulhall, capturing the center's warm, familiar design, perfectly harmonising its function with the community's needs.

Lily Beau Design's content production work aimed to bring Cumulus Studio's architectural vision to life, highlighting the delicate balance between innovation and tradition, functionality, and connection to place.
